Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Tell us what you are thankful for on this Thanksgiving day.
For me, I am thankful that I can breath the breath of life. That I get to see the complexity and wonders of the universe. I am also thankful for having a loving and caring family. And finally, I am so thankful for Carl Sagan. He has opened my secular view of the world. to a free thinker. Challenging the ideas and the questions. RIP Carl.

"The sky calls to us, If we do not destroy our self's. We will one day, venture to the stars" - Carl Sagan

Aye, this is a very international forum and Turkey Day's only a USA holiday. However the thread theme should be applicable to everyone, as all of us have things to be thankful for.

I'm thankful for my loving family and friends, for their support and guidance, and for nurturing my love of science and learning during this period of rapid advances in exploration and understanding of the universe. It's a great time to be alive.

I'm also thankful for Space Engine and this wonderful community that has grown around it. smile

I give great thanks to my freezer, else butter pecan would be a delicacy of the aristocrats. I have no idea what I just said but I think it is grammatically correct.

It wasn't that necessary to remind it.

I think it was. More than half of the people on this forum don't celebrate that holiday, but the OP gave no recognition of that. So it is important to point out.

Also, I don't think that this topic really warrants its own thread, it should be merged with the offtopic discussion thread.
