| It's ridiculously hot here in Surrey, BC, Canada so I went to a cool little water park to cool off. I forgot to put on sunscreen and at the end of the day I had absolutely no sunburns at all. My skin is extremely heat resistant. Is it possible for skin to be more heat resistant than other skin? Just curious.

| Gabe, Yes. Some types of skin are more resilient against sunburn than others. It mostly depends on the amount of melanin in your skin.

And insufficient leads to D vitamin deficiency (which is bad for your bones). High latitude dwellers need to get some exposure in summer to refuel vitamin D. So as always, balance is a good thing.
