those ghosts are supposed to represent dust on the lens

They are too bright and too big, something isnt right.

Did you put the .cfg file in the right place, n3xt?

Well I've loaded your other lens_flare instead without the weird dust...

And I ofcourse removed the dust flares ...

Check this out on normal spikes and Bloom 1.000

Viewed from Pandora <3 (distance: 1.800 ±0.05 AU)

And check out this one as well

From exactly 0.500 AU away

Looks amazing on normal spikes and Bloom 1.000

And another one with the lens flares without the dust

From 0.500 AU

And this one is actually on Super surprised

From a distance of only 0.187 AU hahahaa awesome biggrin

n3xt, please try to avoid making multiple contiguous posts. If you have something else to add, edit your previous post.

You're missing the point, n3xt. You need the lens_flare.cfg file installed to have the full effect. To be honest, the flare looks stupid in your posts.

This is my view of that same star from 0.5 AU away. Keep in mind Autoexposure is set to On. My .cfg can counteract the effect of Autoexposure on the size of the flare a bit.

And in case you missed it, I've linked the .cfg into this message.

Put it into data/models/engine

Overwrite.

No offence though but I really was amazed (I still am) untill I saw those dust or whatever stuff sad
Okay I'll try this later... Thanks again biggrin
Because it's nearly 02:00 am already wacko
And I've been trying to figure out since yesterday about your addon wich was resolved by removing a very simple thing...
Oh nevermind I couldn't resist loading it now surprised

Do I have to remove the lens_flare?

Customize the .png files as you wish, just keep the .cfg, as it's necessary

Okay, well I've made a screenshot while turning off galaxies and star scale set to 0.250
Just on auto exposure off... However I really hope someday it will be possible to set star scale to 0...

Because, you can still see some very tiny dots (very hard to see though). And by the way my Bloom is set on 1.000 and my Star Magnitude Limit to 5 (actually 2 lower then regular, because otherwise the background stars are easier to notice)

Planet: Earth
Star: Should be obvious...

Looks like it's out of a Micheal Bay movie. Hence "Cinematic", lol

Micheal bay isn't the best director, but in order to get my comment you have to know his filming style.
