Converting James Webb Space Telescope - Help Needed

| I am not a 3D graphics expert. I am a newbie and this is only my 2nd attempt at converting a model to Space Engine after my first attempt at a much simpler model was successful.
I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong here. The model I tried to convert is this one: http://nasa3d.arc.nasa.gov/detail/jwst
It is a Maya model which I converted to an .FBX file with a trial of Maya 2015 which I imported into Blender to export as an .OBJ + .MTL file for use in Space Engine.
As you can see sections are missing or become transparent upon rotation.
Here is how it is supposed to look:
BTW: The reason I exported to .FBX and did a double conversion was because I could not find a way to get .OBJ's I exported from Maya to show up in SE.
So, any tips for me? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I hope to contribute some other converted models to the forum once I get this right.

| HarbingerDawn uses Maya so he would know more about that than I would.
I do not have the tools to deal with the Maya file format so I can't really help you out with the model directly.
You could try duplicating faces to fix the invisible bug, if its the error I am thinking it is.
You can also PM me the FBX/OBJ and I can take a look and see if there is anything I can do with it.

| Thank you Doctor. I will try that as well as send you the FBX and OBJ/MTL soon. I'll also hope that Harbinger sees this thread and shares his thoughts.
