Cool, thanks for the list. I think I see some un-catered-for niches I might try to fill.

Any and all Trek ships are appreciated - the string of numbers at the end of my name is by no means random.

Say, anyone knows a game called Space Interceptor: Project Freedom? It's one of those simple and gritty space shoot-em-ups, good to unwind in short sessions between more important tasks, but a bit monotonous otherwise. It had a few cool ships, though. If anyone ported them into SE, I'd be interested. Somewhat.

They let me use this!

Added ISS, so you can all stop asking for it now. Hooray! Forgot to include an orbit script, sorry.

Also fixed a folder structure issue with Rosetta-Philae-, MESSENGER, and Dawn, so you'll have to redownload them if you didn't already fix that yourself.

I wish I had the creativity and patience with these kinds of things as you do Harb.

I've downloaded everything you've done here and the ISS is probably the most remarkably treated out of them!

*applause*

Thank you for doing all these conversions. It's great to have all these ships to try out in Space Engine.

Are the Celestia conversions hard to do? Any chance you'd be able to convert Jestr's Space 1999 Eagle or ScyBladeghost's Battlestar Galactica? Or lukr's Spaceman Spiff?

If they're in 3DS format then they're pretty easy. If they're in CMOD format then it's not.

Maybe, I'll look into them eventually.

After browsing a bit, I couldn't find any models for that game, so I don't think it is possible. But if anyone finds them please post the link, that will be greatly appreciated

Also, Amazing ISS! I have been waiting for this for so long!

why?

Probably because it's a huge model and you don't have a lot of memory.

Apparantly, the model wasn't really the problem but all the textures it had to load. I turned off some of the larger textures in the .sml file and the model worked fine for me.

More specifically, it were those 2 large textures (boom-seg1.jpg and boom-seg2.jpg) that made it crash. I only had to remove those, and then oddly it worked for me.

HarbingerDawn,

The ISS is fantastic!! Quite remarkable! I am sure it was no easy task and a lot of work. Thank you for the addon. Did you happen to write an orbit script yet? I would love to set it in orbit around the earth.

Use this:

Code
Spacecraft    "International Space Station"
{
  Model       "addons/Real/ISS_final.sss"
  SystemID    "-1.-1.-1.-1.-1.-1.-1.-1.73568.5"
  UnivPos     (+000000000000000000001F270EBA8C78 +000000000000000000000D8270D9ED58 -0000000000000000000048F9C91856F5)
  Orientation (-0.093718571665501 -0.370962689042681  0.894896395518415  0.229704057324527)

  AngVelocity ( 0.000000000000000e+000  0.000000000000000e+000  0.000000000000000e+000)
  HUDMode      2
  PhysMode     1
  Orbit
  {
   Epoch           2456705.738843
   Period          0.0001765876256333571
   SemiMajorAxis   4.540840053404504e-005
   Eccentricity    0.0004166
   Inclination     51.6513
   MeanAnomaly     17.9164
   AscendingNode   334.2038
   ArgOfPericen    147.6791
   RefPlane        "Equator"
  }
}

To make sure it's oriented correctly, take control of it and turn on the horizon leveling button. Then go back to free camera and enjoy. For best results, lock the camera to the ISS rotation rather than simply following it.

I add that to my spacecrafts.cfg file right? When ever I do that it puts it around the Dwarf Planet Haumea

Added (28.02.2014, 04:25)
---------------------------------------------
Sorry for the double post but I don't seem to have an edit post button..?

I fixed it, I had extra planet in the system that through the whole thing off.

Apparently AdBlock gets rid of the Edit/Quote buttons.
