How do you take panoramic screenshots?

I was posting on an imageboard yesterday about Space Engine and someone posted some panoramic screenshots he had taken in-game. How do I create panoramas?

Just use the 4-6 keys on the numeric keypad and stitch them in [insert your favourite image editor here] smile

This, I've done it using MS Paint. cool

Ideally, you should stitch the images together with some dedicated software; if you just paste them next to each other in Paint, then there will be very noticeable seams where the images were joined and it will be very distorted.
