| There are actually red lakes (not oceans, but still considerably large bodies of water), that look very much like the red water seen on many SE planets, and these lakes don't even have the slightest hint of blue in them:

(Well, they do show a little bit of blue, but only from certain angles, which is - in the case of red lakes - only the reflection of the blue sky above)
