How do you use coordinates on their own?

In the 'screen dump' forum some people post coordinates like this: RS 1137-2-8-11979686-169 4

I know about pasting the 'place' code into the config file, but I've searched the forum and couldn't
find out what to do with this on its own (without the pos, rot, date, vel and mode lines). When I try
it in the places config on its own, I just get a black screen.

Thanks.

Oh, I typed it into the the F3 'find object' tool and it worked.
I guess that's how everyone is using the coordinates, or is there a better way?

This is not coordinates, but a procedural object's name. Just copy it and paste into F3 menu.
Also, keep in mind, that old locations/objects from 0.96 will not work in 0.97 because of changed generation algorithms.
