I was imagning that perhaps some day Space Engine would support life / ecosystems or at least be able to provide the engine for the world which that lives in. Though it's progress is very slow, I think if Thrive succeeds at what it is trying to do this would be an amazing factor for completion of the entire universe, particularly if they go down the chemical route, as in lifeforms which develop in certain ways based on real chemistry.

I'm sure somewhere (or manywhere) in the universe there will be life living off of non-liquid compounds such as gas or even getting all of their energy from tiny little bits and the digestion system is derived from that. Or something!

Consider also, that eventually in full gameplay (I'd hope) it will be possible to terraform a planet which would enable it to sustain any sort of life you liked.
