| Hello,
I'm new to SE and got a few questions:
1. Are galaxies rotating and moving in SE like in reality (yet)?
2. Will there be collision models and simulations like in Universe Sandbox?
3. Are or will there be seasons on planets, for example freezing, if they got an elliptical orbit and move away from the star?
4. Are there alternating star activity phases like solar cycles, influencing the temperature and thereby seasons and "ice ages" on a planet?
5. Procedurally generated Planets often have the same rotation and orbital time. Is this gonna be fixed?
6. Many selected "galaxies far, far away" seem to have the same diameter of some specific number about 326.xxx kLy, I think. At least if you just click them, I don't know, if this changes on approach. Is this just because of the distance and only changing on approach or are those "random galaxies" all of the same size?
7. Are there intergalactic stars? I couldn't find any yet, but I also think it's hardly possible with the eye. They are also hard to spot with telescopes, so there are only a few cataloged, but you could make them procedurally, if you can guess how many there are.
8. I heard, life as we know it could not exist in the centre of galaxies, so maybe there shouldn't be planets with life in this area.
Further questions to come... Thank you for answering. I hope I don't annoy you.

| Quote SpaceEngineer ( ) as long as SE is a scientifically accurate Universe simulator, then one day it will implement ALL space objects and phenomenon that are known to modern astronomy (if this would be possible to implement on the personal computers). So you may not bother yourself with questions like "will SE one day have meteor rain implemented". I guarantee that it WILL.
you should read the SpaceEngine TODO List i think it will answer some questions.

| Thanks a lot, it actually answers many questions. Maybe there should be a link to this thread in the FAQ section.
