How to make the Go To Command go slower and smoother?

Hello everybody and thank you in advance for helping me. My question is in the title. I am concerned about making the Go To action move smoother, specially the arrival to the destination which is very abrupt for some places like planets. Any idea on this?

Hello francoteves, please read the forum rules before posting in the future.

The default go-to time when using G is already 20 seconds, which is a pretty long time IMO. But you can change the long and short go-to times in user.cfg. As for the acceleration curves, they cannot be adjusted.

LongGotoTime            15.0    // long travel time (seconds)
FastGotoTime            4.0  // fast travel time (seconds)

Defaults are 20 and 3, I use 15 and 4.
