| Ok, since the game doesn't calculate things like chemical compositions, the answer "It depends!" isn't that valuable, but ... Common, what substance is still gaseous at 287K and 1203atm???

| Quote KSpanier ( ) what substance is still gaseous at 287K and 1203atm??? Hydrogen, for one. I suspect there are several other common substances which are either gases or supercritical fluids at that temperature and pressure too.

| Diatomic hydrogen, for one. At those conditions it is slightly below the gas/liquid phase boundary.
I'm not sure what the maximum possible atmosphere pressure is with SE's current atmosphere generation code, but as you said it is not yet a complete model.
edit: Ooops, Harb beat me to it.

| The maximum pressure used to be 10000 atmosphere. It probably still is, unless something has been changed about it.

| In the OP's case, possibly. I mean, Venus can keep a 90 bar atmosphere though it's lighter and much hotter than the Earth. This world isn't much smaller than Venus and far colder, so I wouldn't be surprised if it could hold it.
