I know the joy of engaging kids with this program, my nieces and nephews absolutely adore it!
One, in particular, soaks up anything astronomical like a sponge!
It's so fantastic when they get so into it, that the narrative becomes theirs -
"Let's find the biggest star!"
"How much bigger than the sun is this one?"
"Look at how lumpy it is!"
"Let's find a star in a nebula with lots of planets!"
If I could go around to primary schools, doing just that, I think I might be a happy man.

Heh. I encourage kids being smartass from time to time. I admire their knowledge sometimes. It's great to see they already know so much about a subject. A smartkid is fine with me, until it gets annoying. :P

| It's good you're doing this. Im 13 and when i told my friend that sun is a star, he said it's too big. When i told him that stars are suns that are just far from us, he said that they dont give us light, so they are not stars.

I did that to a friend of mine. His entire world view changed and now he suffers from depression.
Though I am not sure that is a success story.
