| Quote (Aerospacefag) I think this will be really interesting planet i found on my way from Solar system to Pleades. It is a big cold terra with red life on it. Not green, not even purple, as I saw before. I wonder now if there can be a planet with blue color. Alien plant analogs that are blue should be possible in reality. Land plants on Earth are green because they mostly transmit green light but absorb the rest of the visible light spectrum, but not all kinds of photosynthesizing life on earth use pigments that transmit green light. According to my wife who is a biologist, it is probably only an accident of evolutionary history that plants are green and not some other color. Additionally the kind of spectra a star produces will probably affect how evolutionary advantageous it is for plant analogs to use one color pigment or another.
Solaris posted page 7 image 7, blue mountain with a moon (or primary?) in background. The palette and composition reminds me of a moebius drawing. Neat!
