| Quote (Solaris) but double size compare to jpg, anyway i have switched to png
Sometimes PNG can have better file size than JPEG if the image is mostly black (which in your screenshots it isn't), but yes usually PNG is larger. But for computer generated images like these screenshots, compression artifacts in JPEG images has a large impact, so PNG is a great improvement.
Ultimately which is better depends on the situation and your personal preference. But you should always take screenshots as PNG since you can convert to JPEG later if necessary

The real surface brightness of Venus is 100 times higher than Jupiter's. It will be interesting to compare them visually.
