Tallest atmosphere in SE?

So either it's because the planet is really small or because of the low gravity. The atmosphere begins at where the camera is at in this picture.

You can view atmosphere height in the Info window in the atmosphere tab. Click on the object and press "i" or the left side menu and click the "I" button.

According to the Info it was more than 1000km tall.

Are we restricting these Atmospheric heights to a specific class or range of planets?
