Prologue:
After the cataclysm on Xi-Ioth Xia the Moltinian Empire chose to leave Xi-Taal for a new galaxy. Ti-Taal was found in the hope of rebuilding their once great civilisation and Ti-Ioth Xia was colonised. Taal Xia was not void of life however, 4 dominant species were found at war in the galaxy. First the Moxiz, a primarily peaceful civilisation that hasn't expanded or taken full advantage of space, instead built planetary time-dilation and accelerated their own development and evolution. Secondly the Howects, a blob like organism based off of nitrogen instead of water and is a very industrious people trying to terraform planets to suit their habitual needs. Then we have the Diola Empire, A strict totalitarian civilisation who's goal is domination of everything they touch, They cannot stand anything outside their control and will do anything to control it. Finally we have the Nilyomioh Tribe, religious fanatics who never changed from their tribal rituals however progressed in technology.


Chapter 1: ~ 860 Words

The Moltinians arrived in Taal Xia and colonised their new home Ioth Xia, After colonising and building a base of operations the Moltinians then set out in search of new life and worlds to build. After colonising Ioth Siziac Moltinian colonists discovered signs of advanced intelligent life in the outer planets of Ioth Siziac's solar system, Sending a Zendic to make contact is standard procedure, However the Zendic was shot at once it dropped FTL. This was the Howects home world, The Moltinians attempted to communicate with the aliens however the language and technology barrier made it almost impossible. After sustained fire for about an hour the Howects gave up, instead the the Zendic detected large ships originating from the surface, In a rash decision attempting them to not fire upon the Zendic or leave the planet the Moltinians flamed down a gift and peace offering to show they are not hostile. The Moltinians then flamed a holographic projector that displayed a map of the solar system and their colonised worlds, Ioth Siziac and Gahaal Fikiotha. They showed coordinates for locations with landing sites and stations with docking instructions, It was obvious to the Howects the Moltinians were trying to communicates and open talks. After the Howects docked in a Moltinian station attempts at breaking down the communication barrier were started.

After communication was commenced with the Howects the Moltinians learned about 3 other sentient species. A twisted and biased description and view of the civilisations were given to the Moltinians, Not much information was given to the Moltinians about the other 3 except a Moxiz core world. The Howects tell Moltinians that the Moxiz are a peaceful people, However deem themselves too advanced or too good for the others in the galaxy. The Howects continue to say that the Moxiz have somehow accelerated time within their planets and are accelerating their evolution, The Moltinians were told to never go near their planets, They may not be numerous, However they have massively superior technology. The Howects continued to talk and give information about the remaining 2 species however little was known except for they are warlike and are not to be trusted.

After the talks with the Howects the Moltinians continued to expand and colonise to further build their civilisation to reach their goal and reason for choosing this galaxy. A small dwarf galaxy in orbit around Taal Xia that was already being colonised was moved to top priority to secure a supply line from Taal Tiaal and their colonies around Ioth Dilt. In this cluster an interesting planet was discovered, It had what appeared to be a primitive tribal species, However were infact a very advanced race. This civilisation had built its self from advanced technology and then abandoned it to live a tribal life away from technology. As Moltinian vessels descended toward the settlements, ground positions started to fire upon the ships. These were automated defences left by this race before they went tribal. After retreating and launching a ground assault from orbit to wipe out the defences and any possible technological threat, they moved in with diplomats and specialists to try and make contact with the locals.

The local sentient species of the planet dubbed Ioth Yinomic were not all that forth coming to the Moltinian diplomats and were very secretive towards the outsiders. The Moltinians thought they understood why this was so and tried to smooth things over from earlier with no success. Instead the Moltinians started a campaign to wipe out the local sentient life as Ioth Yinomic was too valuable to leave alone or leave to a uncooperative people. While trying to be careful of possible cultural and scientific locations the Moltinians started to bombard the planet with the Zendic's high power siege cannons. After the bombardment Moltinians started to move Taas (A smaller version of the Zendic) into position for atmospheric entry. Once the Taas entered the atmosphere the Moltinians gave the order launch Zartocs (Planetary fighter/shuttle spacecraft) to search and destroy any remaining beings.

A month went by before the Moltinians were able to exterminate the race of Ioth Yinomic and in that time a unknown civilisation attempted an attack on Ioth Fisia, A research colony toward the centre of the galaxy. This empire went for civilian centres before the defences opened up on them, After destroying their fleet the Moltinians went up to investigate and discovered something unexpected. A ship with what looked to be marks and symbols all over it which is not all that unusual, However its what is inside that is odd to them. They discovered a Tribal looking crew and language, They could not understand why or how a tribal civilisation could rise to the point of being able to use true space technology while not progressing their social structure. The theory of a tribal society advancing to the space age was not a very accepted one among Moltinians and this was put at the top of priority after Taal Tiaal, As a space worthy civilisation being tribal was interesting to the Moltinians they perceived this group as a hostile threat because of their lack of knowledge about them.

Chapter 2: ~ 900 Words

After the first encounter with the unknown spacecraft the Moltinians set out to find these unknown civilisations and hopefully make contact. Another goal of this endeavour was to find hyper-advanced technological artefacts as the Moltinians had detected anomalies indicative of a very advanced civilisation. After a year the Moltinians continued to build their empire and fortify their more important core worlds, when a probe detected a large fleet of spacecraft on the outer edge of the system it was observing. Usual means of identifying was not an option as it was too far out, However It was clear this was not the unknown species due to the communications and fleet structure. Due to the resources required to build a fleet this advanced and large they pondered if it were one of the other 2 empires the Howects mentioned, Or if it was another lesser civilisation yet unknown. A couple of hours went by and that allowed the fleet to coast within scanner range, The scanner indicated that the technology in the fleet was far more advanced than anything previously seen by the Moltinians.

A small Zendic fleet was sent to intercept and make contact with the fleet, However it disappeared before the Moltinians could jump there. The Moltinians looked over the data from the probe and realised the technology in that fleet was the most advanced thing they had ever seen, even more advanced than their own technology. This is what the Moltinians were looking for, Evidence of a very advanced civilisation inhabiting the galaxy, This prospect was very exciting to the Moltinians as it maybe finally someone who they were looking for, for a very long time. Longer range spacial probes had detected that the fleet only cloaked and had not actually jumped, The scientists who observed the probe and fleet thought this to be a response to the probes existence and drew the probe out of the unknown fleets “Scanner” range. Once the probe left the fleet decloaked and was observable by longer range probes who had been moved in, The fleet was beyond what the Moltinians where hoping for, Could this be a remnant fleet of the Mohakins they have been searching for all this time.

The Mohakins are a species who out date the universe itself, As far as to Moltinian knowledge, a very very advanced civilisation who the Moltinians look up to almost as gods. It is believed with in the empire that the Mohakins created our universe to rest and resupply their own fleet but have thought to have moved on. The fleet could be Mohakin AI left behind the scientists proposed and to find out they sent the probe back in to try and open contact. The moment the probe emerged within the solar system it was destroyed by an unknown force as the longer range probes had not detected weapons fire. The Moltinians using data from the spacial probes determined that the weapon used was a type of spacial distortion, Distorting space-time to the point where matter is torn apart. Zendics have a defence against this already, they moved in a fleet to hopefully make contact before their own ships were destroyed.

A fleet of 15 Zendics and 3 Dothias (overly large weapon platform/carrier/logistic support) was dropped in. The moment the fleet entered system they encountered a containment shield but made quick work of it with the Dothia's primary weapons. The ships prepped to fire of communications the moment the shield went down but was unable to do so as the suspected Mohakin fleet had already opened fire, White/Red solid beams originating from long, thin, smooth and mainly darkly coloured ships destroyed 3 Zendics before full defences could be enacted. The Dothias deployed large fleet sized shields to defend the fleet and keep enemy weapons fire off of the Zendics who cannot take much without popping, With the weight of the enemies weapons off of the Zendic they could focus on trying to narrow down the communication technology used by this fleet. Then they got it, Rippled spacial distortion, a technology also primarily used by the Moltinians. Without thinking they fired off the communique and waited.

Minutes later the Suspected Mohakin fleet disengaged and jumped toward the centre of the galaxy, But before the Moltinians could celebrate in their victory because they had managed to take one of the ships down they picked up a distress signal from one of the outlying scientific colonies. The signal entailed a very advanced civilisation who systematically wiped out all scientific and military installations, It also detailed that this was not the 'Tribal' fleet from a year back but a new unknown empire. The Moltinain fleet quickly broke formation and jumped leaving the escape pods and wreckage behind. The world under attack was Ioth Gifivo a seemingly primordial world with no real strategic value, But scientific value was very high as it held a yet unknown form of life. As the fleet arrived the planet was silent with no signs of life at all. It was then the unknown fleet from before decloaked and attacked with an even larger fleet and a new ship. This new ship was 10 or 20 time larger than the rest of the fleet and this the Moltinians thought would be time to reveal their primary capital ship to the galaxy. The Dothtaal, A planet sized spacecraft designed to mainly scare the enemy but also provide strategic and logistic support aswell as a docking point where ships can seek shelter.
