| On one of my first space travels in Space Engine 0.9.7.2 i went to a white dwarf to see the new corona effects but i encountered one of the most bizzarre planets i have ever found! By now, everyone knows planets can be tidally heated, but this is going too far
Name of the planet is HIP 32560 3

| Name it "Bruce"... and he's a rebel... he don't follow the herd... he goes his own way... does his own thing.... and that's what makes him "hot"... and he knows it...

| Why the rings continue to exists in such a huge tidal force enviroment?

| That's a planet? I thought it was a red dwarf and its companion the titan until I saw the rings! That's a really bizarre world.
I occasionally stream at http://www.twitch.tv/magistermystax. Sometimes SE, sometimes other games.

| The titan is scorched because of its moon acting almost like another sun. It is likely that the moon was captured after previously colliding with another body.

| Aww...I know it's unrealistic, but I kinda like that bug. I also liked the islands on oceanias bug in 0.971, because it made me like oceanias more. In the future, might people be able to control which of their favorite bugs appear and which don't, in the config file?

| Quote SpaceEngineer ( ) Extremely heated moons is a bug
The earth's moon was scorched at some point, so i see no problem with some of the moons being scorched.
The "bug" here is that the planet this moon is orbiting is a titan with lakes of methane, and methane cant be found on liquid state on scorched temperatures, but i guess thats a catalog error

Quote DenebStarFTW ( ) The earth's moon was scorched at some point, so i see no problem with some of the moons being scorched. The bug is that this moon uses heating values from the previously generated larger moon, which was deleted as impossible in the previous iteration. It becomes much more strange when the next generated moon is a 10 km wide asteroid, receiving all heat from the 3000 km wide moon, and turned into blue star
Quote DenebStarFTW ( ) The "bug" here is that the planet this moon is orbiting is a titan with lakes of methane, and methane cant be found on liquid state on scorched temperatures Titan's surface, crust and mantle is made of water ice, which also cannot be found at these temperatures. When generator algorithm works normally, scorched titan gets turned into oceania.
Quote DenebStarFTW ( ) but i guess thats a catalog error Procedural objects have nothing to do with catalogs.

| it is possible that in the next version solve it by creating different types of Titan, as seas based on sulfuric acid, mercury or tar, since boil at temperatures higher than 100 degrees, with crusts of silicon, carbon or iron and with life forms that use not only solvents other than water, but also a different DNA, that is, more resistant to heat the "common" DNA-based carbon present on Earth.

The planet is HIP 82514 4
