| Hey guys,
This is my new film release of SpaceEngine Version 0.95
This whole space voyage is filmed seamlessly for 15-minutes. My objective with this particular film was to focus on maintaining continuity of space travel, from planet to planet and galaxy to galaxy, and to show how the procedural engine captures the "Micro-Cosmic" within the Macro-Cosmic.
This film shows several close-up scenes with some of the new planetary textures. For one such close-up scene, look for where the camera touches down for a few moments on a planet's sand dune surface.
It's best to watch this video full-screen and in high definition to appreciate the finite details of this engine's infinite universe.
I hope you enjoy the video and my own music score.

| Decided to make another film to showcase some more of the new planetary textures of the engine. I had some slight terrain popping in some places, mainly due to FRAPS running in the background didn't help, but generally my PC perfomed well.
This time I have enabled the new diffraction spikes for stars and the new lens flare effect. I particualr love the 'Brocken-Spectre' effect on the camera lens in this film.
If your broadband speed allows it, it's best to watch this video full-screen and in high definition (1080) to appreciate the details.

| Done another short video of version 0.95. This one was inspired by Rodrigo's nice planet finding the other day. On decent from orbit, it shows a very high mountain range at the horizon, on closer view the mountain can be seen breaking through the clouds.

| Quote (SpaceEngineer) First part of movie - without lens flares
Actually, I disabled the diffraction spikes and lens flare on purpose. I found the spikes rather overwhelming when travelling the coastline. They kept obscuring my field-of-view against the background landscape features; which I wanted to be seen properly in the film. The spikes and flare look great in space, but tend to detract the player's attention away from the terrain features of the engine.
IMO the spikes should be much shorter in length and subtler at ground level, with a more subtle lens flare effect too, especially on planets with an atmosphere. The idea behind this video then; was to start with the naked eye view: with no effects, then introduce the camera's 'eye' view with its effect once it was away from the coastline.
