GREETINGS, VIEWERS!

How's everyone doing this fine night? Boy, do I have a treat for you my little Astrohistorians.

Looking through some Pre-Cutoff Archives today I came upon some pictures of a Planet known as Erysya, situated in a Binary System of two (one white, one blue) main sequence stars. The two stars were each about 6AU from the System's Barrycenter. This planet was never settled, and for good reason! The temperature on the surface, without taking into account the greenhouse effect, exceeds 200 degrees Ongji! That's hot enough to melt an Extractor, folks. Tidally locked to the White Star, it has an orbital period of around 5 Standard Days: this causes half the planet to shine pure white. Due to the closeness of the two stars, the other half is dyed almost entirely blue with a small dark section running from Pole to Pole. This little Gem is a truly unique sight, like a marble caught between two children. Infact, that's how it's gotten it's name (A combination of the Standard Company words "Erheyo" and "Sayha," meaning "To Struggle for a Prize.")

That's it for now, dearest readers! As always, I would like to thank the Jhoenghaesa National Archives for my continued access to these riveting reads, and the Free Company of Planeteers for their excessive pedantry!

What's this, you're going to tell us all about a cool place in the universe and not share pictures or coordinates? What a tease! wink

edit: Ah, I replied too soon and didn't see the edit. Nice find!
