I attempted to download this file and Bitdefender blocked the page with the message that it contained Trojan.Fakealert.49528. Just thought you might want to know.

| Time for my first video, "Spectacula Cosmi": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8k9sy3tjHM
As an attempt to add some originality, the video is accompanied with some hexametric verses written in Latin (during the first half of the video, until I got tired. It's like writing crosswords, which is fun, up until a certain point...).
I also have a 60 fps version in high quality at http://voksenlia.net/spaceengine/video/spectacula.mp4. But this is on my server at home and I only have a 5 mbps uplink and the file is 219MB, so be patient.

| Quote (midtskogen) I only have a 5 mbps uplink I have a 0.4 Mbps uplink and 1 Mbps downlink, so I consider that fantastic. I'll be sure to check it out.

There is fiber cable a couple of hundred metres down the street here, which could give me 100 Mbps duplex. They put it on the streetlight/power poles some years ago. I signed up, but they got as far as where the power line had one stop on the wall of a home and the owner didn't want to have another wire across his property and the fiber company didn't want to dig 50 meters to get access to the next pole across the street, so they cancelled the contract. A couple of years later I approached them again, and they promised to provide the fiber if I could get a certain number of neighbours to sign up as well. So I did, a new contract was signed, they ordered the road to be dug up and everything, but all of a sudden they broke the contract again saying that it was becoming too expensive. More than enough reason for me to be quite mad at them, since I had done their sales work for them for free and done my part of the deal. They prefer apartment buildings and seem reluctant to sign up with individual home owners. Anyway, I have a 10/5 Mbps connection through my cable company. It's not too bad, but not really a revolution since "everybody" got online with megabit connections 15 years ago.

| Quote (midtskogen) I assume 1 Mbps will prevent you from watching 1080 on YouTube? At best I can stream 360p on Youtube, and sometimes not even then. If I want to watch 1080 I need to either let it load for a long time or use a program to download it to my hard drive (takes the same amount of time, but is more reliable).
Concerning fiber, nearly every town surrounding mine has fiber, but my town does not (historically, my town is usually the last to allow anything like that in. Most business developments are shut out and they don't like allowing cellular towers, etc.). So I have very limited options for internet. I can either get a 1 or 3 Mbps DSL connection, or I can get a cable connection. But since Comcast is a terrible company that I have sworn to never deal with again - and they're not cheap - I really have no options. So I'm stuck with bandwith that's worse than I was using over a decade ago.

| Well it's not a Space Engine video per se, but there is some SE footage in there. I thought I'd be fun to post it on here

| Wonderful video as always chromatic9. There are only two issues I want to comment on. 1) the music was really lossy, so much so that it was distracting. It would have been better if you'd used a higher quality version of the music track. 2) you could have gotten a much better looking SE logo at the end if you'd taken the logo directly from the menu texture (data/locale/eng-menu.png).
If those issues could be fixed without too much effort and the video re-uploaded then I might feature the video on the SE Facebook page

| Thanks guys and thanks HarbingerDawn for the consideration.
I've just checked and it seems I can't buy the version I want.
film score is too short 2:02 main one available to buy is done by Prague philharmonic orchestra, much different John murphy's remaster is again much different
I tried many times but all the correct versions are poor rips of poor rips have no clue where the source is from to buy

| I really like chromatic9's video up there. It takes a lot of careful thought and work to compose and edit all that, and I can appreciate that.

| Hi there!
So I'm relatively new to SE, and I just joined the forum today. The software is pretty awesome, and once I found out its possible to record videos from it, I immediately thought that it should be made a part of my music.
Hence, I present to you: Data
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-HylIa8zdY
The clips are all Space engine material, the compilation and effects are made in Adobe Premiere Pro. I felt that space scenes would definitely suit the mood of the song, so after about a week or so of trial and errors, I finally managed to put it all together into a music video for my song.
I hope that you will enjoy the video!
Cheers!
- Brandon
